Leads

Evaluate a potential lead and initiate a follow up. Leads are the assets browsed but not finalize.

By default, leads are grouped based on the email address of the customer.

Leads Table

The Leads table consists of the following fields for each lead:

  • Email Address: The email address of the customer.
  • Year/Make/Model/Trim: Year, make, model, and trim of the asset.
  • Lead Status: The lead status e.g. Abandoned or Completed.
  • Lead ID: The unique ID of the lead.
  • Deal ID: The unique ID of the deal.
  • First Name: The first name of the customer.
  • Last Name: The last name of the customer.
  • Contact Number: The contact number of the customer.
  • Preferred Communication method: The preferred communication method of the customer e.g. Phone, SMS, Email.
  • VIN: The VIN number of the asset.
  • Stock: The stock number of the asset.
  • Created At:
  • Last Updated At:
  • Last Synced Status:
  • Lead Source: The source of the lead e.g. Dealer Portal, Dealer Website, Payment Estimator, Drift.
  • Deal Status: The status of the deal e.g. Draft, Submitted, Pending Confirmation, Fully Received, Approved, Withdrawn, Cancelled.

Lead Summary

To see the details of the leads and to look into what users searched for, click the icon at the end of the table, and select View Details. This will redirect you to the Lead Summary page:

Lead Summary

Deal Summary

The Deal Summary section provides and overview of the deal that was created:

The Deal Summary section provides the following information:

  • Asset Name: The name of the asset.
  • Lead ID: The unique lead ID.
  • Lead Status: The status of lead e.g. Completed, Abandoned.
  • VIN: The VIN number of the asset.
  • Net Financed Amount: The net financed amount entered.
  • Deal Type: The type of deal e.g. 24 Months Finance, 12 Months Finance.
  • Rate: The interest rate.
  • Est. Periodic Payment: The estimated periodic payment.

Activity Insights

The Activity Insights section show the activity on the lead from the customer and the dealer:

Activity insights includes the details of:

  • Down Payment: The amount of down payment.
  • Terms: Lease or Financing duration.
  • Credit Score: The reported credit score of the customer.
  • Rebates: The applicable rebates.

To view the activity of the customer, dealer, or both together, in View Updated By, select Customer, Dealer, or All respectively:

Customer Details

The Customer Details section includes the following information:

Customer Details

  • Name: The name of the customer.
  • Address: The address of the customer.
  • Email: The email address of the customer.
  • Credit Score: The reported credit score of the customer.
  • Mobile Phone Number: The mobile number of the customer.
  • Preferred Communication: The reported preferred communication methods e.g. Phone, SMS, Email.
  • License Number: The license number of the customer.
  • Date of Birth: Date of birth of the customer.

Asset Details

The Asset Details section includes the following information:

  • Asset: The name of the asset.
  • Asset Condition: The condition of the asset e.g. New or User.
  • Stock Number: The stock number of the asset.
  • Current Mileage: The current mileage on the asset.

The Payment Breakdown section includes the following:

Payment Breakdown

Payment breakdown is divided into three sections:

Section One

Section one includes the following:

Section One

  • Periodic Payment: The recurring payment made (usually monthly) under the finance or lease agreement.
    • Net Periodic Payment: The actual recurring payment amount after factoring in taxes and fees.
    • Tax Amount: The portion of each periodic payment that goes toward applicable taxes.
  • Due at Signing: The total amount the customer must pay upfront at the start of the contract.
    • Down Payment: The upfront cash contribution or trade-in credit applied to reduce the financed amount.
  • Terms: The length of the agreement (e.g., 36 months, 60 months).
  • Rate: The interest rate (APR) or lease money factor applied to the deal.

Section Two

Section two includes the following:

  • MSRP: Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price; the sticker price of the vehicle before discounts.
  • Selling Price: The negotiated purchase price of the vehicle.
  • Down Payment: The upfront cash or trade-in equity applied toward the purchase.
  • RV/Balloon: Residual Value or Balloon payment; the expected value of the vehicle at lease-end or the lump sum due at the end of a balloon loan.
    • RV on Add-Ons: Residual value credit applied to add-ons that retain some value at lease-end.
  • F&I Products: Finance & Insurance products such as extended warranties, GAP coverage, or service contracts.
  • Add-Ons: Optional dealer-installed items (e.g., accessories, protection packages).
    • Pre-Installed: Dealer add-ons that are already installed on the vehicle before purchase.
  • Trade-In Equity/Inequity: The difference between your trade-in vehicle's value and the loan payoff. Positive equity lowers the financed amount, while negative equity (inequity) increases it by rolling the shortfall into the new deal.
    • ICO / Dealer Offer Amount: Instant Cash Offer or dealer's trade-in appraisal — what the dealer is willing to pay for your trade-in vehicle.
    • Payoff Amount: The total amount you still owe on your current loan or lease for the trade-in vehicle, including principal and any remaining fees

Section Three

Section three includes the following:

  • Net Financed Amount: The total amount financed after subtracting any upfront reductions (down payment, rebates, trade-in equity).
    • Financed Amount: The gross amount being financed before reductions.
      • MSRP: The base vehicle price.
      • Selling Price: The negotiated price actually financed.
      • Add-Ons: Additional dealer-installed items financed into the loan.
      • F&I Products: Insurance and protection products financed into the deal.
      • Fees: Document, registration, or acquisition fees included in the loan.
      • Trade-In Inequity: Negative equity rolled into the new loan if the trade-in is worth less than owed.
      • Taxes Capitalization: Taxes that are rolled into the financed balance instead of paid upfront.
    • Capitalized Cost Reduction: The total amount reducing the financed balance upfront.
      • Down Payment: Cash paid by the customer at signing.
      • Trade-In Equity: Positive equity from a trade-in applied toward the purchase.
      • Rebates: Manufacturer or dealer rebates applied to reduce financing.
  • Financed Charges: The total cost of borrowing (interest/finance charges) over the contract.
  • First Payment Date: The date when the first periodic payment is due.
  • Total Deal Payments: The overall sum of all payments (upfront + periodic) the customer will make under the agreement.
